Hogan said in a tweet that he wanted to thank Mayor Jack Young, BPD Commissioner Michael Harrison, Baltimore Police, Maryland State Police, and the vast majority of demonstrators for their efforts to keep gatherings safe and respectful.
Hogan stated that they are continuing to monitor the situation closely and are ready to quickly respond to any changes on the ground.
He wants to continue to stress the importance of reducing risks of spreading COVID-19 while protesters peacefully express their First Amendment rights.
