HARFORD COUNTY, Md. (WMAR) — The Harford County Sheriff's Office is investigating two separate Wednesday morning crashes.

The first incident happened just after 6 a.m. at an apartment complex in the 1900 block of Edgewater Drive in Edgewood.

Arriving deputies found a car crashed into the building.

The driver and a resident were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Investigators believe a medical incident was the primary cause of the crash, but are still working to determine if weather was a factor.

There's no word on the extent of damage to the complex.

Three hours later deputies were dispatched to North Bend Elementary School, for reports of a woman struck by a snowplow truck.

Preliminary reports suggest the woman walked behind the plow while it was in reverse when she was hit.

She was taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview for minor injuries.

Detectives along with Harford County Public Schools are still looking into the cause of the crash and who was at fault.
