BALTIMORE — Baltimore Symphony musicians performed a free concert Saturday at a West Baltimore church to celebrate the greatness of the city.
Since June, BSO musicians have been locked out over a salary dispute as the symphony battle a financial struggle.
On Saturday, along with other musicians and artist, the BSO musicians took the stage at New Shiloh Baptist Church.
Another free concert is scheduled for BSO musicians on Saturday 21. The fall opener remains postponed while the musicians continue their strike.
The BSO management team has proposed two contracts that would bring the them back to work, but the musicians refuse to accept their offer.
