The Maryland Food Bank has distributed more than 36 million pounds of food since the pandemic started, more than double its distribution over the same period of time last year.
The Food Bank has a fully functional commercial kitchen preparing thousands of grab and go meals, and all meals must be individually packaged. They are looking for daytime, weekday volunteers to assist with packaging and distributing these meals.
If you are unable to volunteer, the Maryland Food Bank always appreciates your donations.
