A double shooting has left a man dead and a woman injured in the area of Pennsylvania and North Ave, according to Baltimore Police.
Officials report that officers were on foot when they heard gunshots in the area. They immediately ran to the scene and conducted first response efforts to the affected victims.
They say the man shot was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead from his injuries and the woman is currently receiving treatment for her injuries.
A large crowd formed the area immediately after the shooting and police were able to take control and clear the area.
Investigators are currently at the scene and the area has been secured.
