Anne Arundel man arrested for theft, drug paraphernalia in Brooklyn Park

ANNE ARUNDEL, Md. — A 33-year-old Anne Arundel man was arrested on Tuesday following a neighborhood check due to recent thefts from vehicles in Brooklyn Park.

According to Anne Arundel Police, they observed Joshua Rorey Venable near a parked vehicle and after speaking to him, found that he had an open arrest warrant for failing to appear in court for a theft charge.

Venable was arrested and police say a number of items believed to be stolen from vehicles in the area were found in his possession.

Two victims of recent thefts identified several of the items found as their property.

Venable was also found to be in possession of controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia.
