The Anne Arundel County Fire Department says an accidental fire in Glen Burnie caused an estimated $85,000 of damage to the home.
Firefighters went to the 500 block of West Court just after 11:30 in the morning on Tuesday. When they got to the house they saw smoke coming from the side and roof of a two-story home in a quad complex.
Fire officials say nobody was home at the time, but all three of the connecting homes were occupied and had to be evacuated. Nobody was injured.
Members of the Fire and Explosives Investigation Unit determined the fire was accidental in nature. They have not been able to make contact with the residents to complete the investigation or determine if the residents will be displaced.
