The first medical marijuana dispensary in Anne Arundel County opened its doors Monday.
Business is already at GreenPoint Wellness, located off Elkridge Landing Road in Linthicum. The store has already booked 75 appointments.
Owner Tony Toskov has spent the last two years and eight months getting the dispensary ready for patients and he has thought of everything, from convenience of parking to security.
"It's not what everybody thinks. It's a medical facility," Toskov said. "Everything is kept safe, it's in a vault at night. This is treated no different than a pharmaceutical facility."
The dispensary will have an official grand opening ceremony on Saturday. The public is invited, but you must have a medical marijuana card to buy any cannabis.
