A man hit by a car crossing Rt. 50 in Anne Arundel County is in poor condition.
Maryland State Police say Gregory Howell, 52, was attempting to cross near Bay Dale Drive when he was hit by car after 6 a.m. Wednesday. The driver of the car, Michael Miller, was not hurt and remained on the scene.
Howell was airlifted to Shock Trauma and his injuries are quite severe.
Police believe Howell may have been under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash.
Parts of Rt. 50 were shutdown for several hours Wednesday morning.
