Memorial event to remember those who died because of drunk driving

Posted

It was an event to remind people about the dangers of drunk driving and honor those who died because of it.

Governor Larry Hogan joined Maryland State Police Superintendent Colonel William Pallozzi and Maryland Department of Transportation Secretary Pete K. Rahn with more than 100 family members and friends of impaired driving crash victims and highway safety advocates.

This was the 14th Annual Maryland Remembers memorial service.

The memorial honors victims of impaired driving and raises awareness to prevent drunk and drugged driving, an act that kills more than 150 people on Maryland’s roads every year.
