Man taken to hospital after South Baltimore shooting

BALTIMORE — Police are investigating after a man was shot in the arm in South Baltimore.

On Monday at about 9:47 p.m., Southwest District patrol officers responded to the 3300 block of West Baltimore Street for a report of a shooting.

When officers arrived, they found a 43 year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the arm.

The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

A preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was shot while in 3200 Massachusetts Avenue. The victim fled that location, to the 3300 block of West Baltimore Street, where police were called.
