Day and nighttime training exercises at Aberdeen Proving Ground will commence Tuesday, Oct. 16, running through Thursday, Oct. 18, the U.S Army Test and Evaluation Command said Monday.
Noises from the training may be heard or felt in the community, but the operations are not hazardous to residents, the Army said. The training is deemed necessary to the Army's mission.
The exercises may include military weapons and watercraft, resulting in weapon firing and light flashes being heard and seen by the community.
Knowing the noise can't be contained, Proving Ground officials said they are taking every measure to limit the amount of impact the training has on the community.
If at any time anyone in the surrounding communities are concerned about something potentially related to testing, they are encouraged to call 443-861-6586.
