An 88-year-old man died after being injured in a Dec. 7 fire at his Rosedale home, Baltimore County Police said.
George Antonas, of the 1500 block of National Road, died 20 days later at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.
The day of the fire, firefighters responded to Antonas’ home after a mailman saw fire coming from the front of the residence. Fire personnel were able to keep the fire to one room and put it out. Antonas was found in a bedroom and was taken to Bayview.
The fire was ruled an accident by Baltimore County Police Fire Investigators.
