After a day of mostly sunny skies, and record breaking temperatures... a few changes are on the way to our area. A few showers will trickle into the area as we head into Tuesday--but rainfall totals will remain modest. A cold front will advance into the area as we head into Wednesday morning and will cause a couple of things to happen: 1) Our highs will occur early in the day, and temperatures will be dropping through the afternoon. 2) A couple of areas will have potential to see a wintry mix as cooler air advects in and showers linger. I'm not expecting this to be a high impact event-- but folks traveling in the northwest communities will want to use caution Wednesday morning--especially on bridges and overpasses.

Several rounds of rain will plague the area this week, as temperatures remain above average. You'll want to keep the umbrella on standby for the entire work week as showers will be possible through Friday. Rainfall totals are looking impressive in some areas-- where we could see up to 3 inches of rain through Friday. Most of the rain comes into the area Thursday and Friday.

Saturday looks mainly dry, but a few showers will move in overnight into Sunday. Things dry out just in time for the work week, where temperatures will hover near 50°.
