Another Low Pressure System Brings Weekend Rain Chance

Another low pressure system will begin moving towards Maryland Sunday night and will brings scattered showers into the area. No severe weather is expected but some of the showers will be on the heavy side. While the more consistent showers will not arrive in the area until after midnight, a few isolated showers will be possible ahead far ahead of the front as early as 8pm Saturday.

The southerly flow will also bring warm temperatures into the area-- by Sunday, seasonal temperatures are expected. As the system spins through our area, a showers will be possible throughout Sunday-- so it will be a good idea to have the umbrella nearby all day Sunday.

For the Month of April, we currently sit at 3.79 inches of rain through Friday morning... which puts us 1.23 inches above the monthly average! Through Sunday night, another inch of rain will be possible across the area, so we are trending towards a wetter than average April.
