CATONSVILLE, MD — Congratulations to Juliette Whittaker of Mount de Sales Academy for being this week's M&T Bank “Student Athlete of the Week!”
Whittaker is only a sophomore and is breaking records, earning her the 2019-2020 Gatorade Maryland Girls Cross Country Runner of the Year.
This past season she also won the Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland state meet with a time of 19:08.58. Her time is only 1:29.78 seconds ahead of her next-closest competitor, and lead the Sailors to a third-place finish as a team.
Whittaker also won the Maryland/DC Private School Championships with a time of 18:59. She’s just as dominant in the 800, 1500 and 3200 meters. There's is no doubt that Juliette has a bright future ahead of her
