Black Friday gun sales reportedly down compared to previous years

This year's Black Friday saw fewer background checks for gun purchases than last year, according to the FBI.

The FBI says they ran about 182,000 background checks for firearms last Friday, which is down more than 20,000 from last year's record day.

Though the number of background checks was down, the FBI also points out the number of firearms sold Friday is likely higher because people can buy more than one gun per transaction.

Black Friday is typically one of the busiest days of the year for gun sales.
