BALTIMORE — Parents and students gathered to protest outside of Matthew A. Henson Elementary School Thursday morning.
Organizers were protesting the school's administration and staff. Parents say they're operating the school poorly and failing to fulfill the needs of the students.
"We want the principal, the vice principal and everybody he brought with him out of here,” said parent Michael Boyd. “We want them all gone."
There have been several problems at Matthew A. Henson Elementary School in recent years. Former pro-football player and teacher at Aaron Maybin has been vocal about the lack of heat in the school and most, recently an issue with leaky pipes.
