BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police are investigating two shootings that took place Wednesday night
The first shooting took place just after 7 p.m. in West Baltimore.
Officers were called to the scene of shooting in the 500 block of Druid Hill Avenue. There, they found an unidentified man who was shot in the head and body. He was taken to an area hospital where he is listed in critical condition and went into surgery.
Homicide detectives are leading the investigation, due to his injuries.

One man is dead after a shooting that took place just after 9:30 p.m. in the 5600 block of Northwood Drive at E. Belvedere Avenue.
Officers found a 35 year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds to the chest. He was taken to a hospital and died from his injuries.
