ABINGDON, Md. — Maryland's Transportation Authority is set to begin construction on a new Park and Ride lot at the intersection of MD 924 and Woodsdale Road adjacent to the I-95 interchange at MD 24/MD 924 in Abingdon.
When complete, the lot will have of 265 parking spaces. Commuters will be able to enter the Park and Ride along MD 924 and on Woodsdale Road.
The year long project is scheduled to start on June 15. By summer 2021, the Park and Ride should be fully operational.
Some daytime and nighttime closures could occur during construction.
The Park and Ride is part of a $1.1 billion program to relieve congestion and improve travel along the I-95 corridor in Harford County.
