Fifteen years ago, America watched as a girl from Texas who worked as a telemarketer and cocktail waitress auditioned for a televised singing competition and went on to have the best-selling single of 2002.

"A Moment Like This," sung by American Idol Season 1 winner Kelly Clarkson, was her first No. 1 hit single. Clarkson has since had dozens of hits on the Billboard 100 and has sold more than 25 million albums worldwide.

Many "Idol" winners have followed in her footsteps of fame. The second winner, Ruben Studdard, won a Grammy for best male R&B vocal performance for "Superstar." Taylor Hicks, winner of Season 5, went on to perform on Broadway in "Grease."

Season 4 winner Carrie Underwood, from Oklahoma, was named one of the 100 most influential people in the world by Time magazine and is considered a leader in the country music industry.

As the show comes to an end this week, we want to know who you liked the most. Rank the singers here.
