Do you know a senior adult who goes above and beyond for their community?
Maybe they spend time volunteering, or mentoring children, or organizing fundraisers. Or maybe they just go that extra mile for the people in their life.
We want to hear about them!
This is the fourth year WMAR has partnered with the 42 Baltimore-area Chick-fil-A restaurants for the Everyday Heroes award. Marketing director Lisa Scott said they are excited to see who the new rounds of winners will be.
"The Baltimore area restaurants do value very much the communities that they serve," said Scott. "We do fundraisers and give back in every way that we can, so we thought what a wonderful way to actually highlight people in the community that are trying to make that same kind of change, trying to spread positivity, trying to make a difference and maybe mentor future generations."
