BALTIMORE — The FBI is searching for two women and two men they're calling the Mod Squad.
All four are wanted in connection to at least 11 bank robberies that happened between March 26 and June 12 throughout Baltimore City, Baltimore County, and Anne Arundel County.
The FBI thinks the foursome may also be responsible for another Baltimore City bank robbery that occurred Saturday around 2 p.m. at Columbia Bank, and an unsuccessful attempted robbery at a Pikesville BB&T Bank two hours earlier.
Their strategy usually includes one of the suspects approaching the teller with a note demanding money while another waits in the lobby or vestibule as a lookout. Once the teller hands over the money, the suspects flee, the FBI said.
In each of their robberies, the young group reportedly uses a variety of clothing styles and sunglasses to hide their identity. They also have used multiple different getaway cars, according to the FBI.
A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the suspects.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the FBI at 410-265-8080.
