BALTIMORE — One in 10 people in Baltimore have HIV, and many of them don't even know it. This is prompting the city to urge people to get tested.
Tomorrow is National HIV testing day and free screenings will be available at Walgreens locations throughout the city.
Dr. Letitia Dzirasa, Baltimore City Health Commissioner says that the importance of getting checked is that it allows you to protect yourself and your partner.
Anyone between the ages of 13 and 64 should be tested at least once as part of their routine healthcare check.
