GLEN BURNIE, ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY — Addyson Daugherty, 9, of Glen Burnie knows what it is like to spend holidays in the hospital. That's what has inspired her to give back and make a difference in the lives of other children.
In 2017, Addyson started donating Christmas trees and decorations to the youngest patients at Johns Hopkins Children's Center and has now expanded efforts to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Addyson spends time at both hospitals for treatment of autonomic dysfunction and is proud to donate her one thousandeth tree this year. She credits her family and friends for making the tree program the success it is today and hope you will consider donating to the cause.
