COLUMBIA — Howard County Police helped find a young boy with Down syndrome after he wandered away from his home in the cold weather.
On Friday, Feb. 12, police were called to a Columbia neighborhood for a report that a 10-year-old boy with Down syndrome had wandered away wearing flip flops in the 25 degree weather.
Officers arrived quickly to canvas the neighborhood, located him within 15 minutes of their arrival and got him back home safely.
Great job by the officers!
