BALTIMORE — A fun study by one group found that gingerbread cake is Maryland's number one choice for Christmas treats.
Zippia says they used Google trends to determine which treat each state eats a disproportionate amount of.
Over 40 Christmas classics were examined including candy stocking stuffers, peppermint flavored sweets, and different cakes.
From there, Zippia looked for which treat those residents searched most for.
Apparently for us, it turns out that we like gingerbread cake. Who would've known.
