BALTIMORE — A 14-year-old boy is in the hospital after a shooting last night in Baltimore.
On Monday, just before midnight, officers headed to the 3600 block of Reisterstown Road to investigate a shooting.
When officers arrived, they found a 14-year-old boy suffering from a gunshot wound in the rear of the 3600 block of Reisterstown Road .
The boy was taken in an ambulance to an area hospital.
Northwest District Shooting detectives were summoned to the scene as well as Homicide detectives.
Due to the severity of the victim’s injuries Homicide detectives assumed control of the investigation.
As of Tuesday morning, the boy is reported to be in stable condition.
