300 murders in Baltimore for fourth consecutive year

For the fourth year in a row, there's been 300 murders in Baltimore City.

Around 11:30 Wednesday night, officers were called to the 1800 block of Baker Street in West Baltimore for a report of a shooting. A 30-year-old man was shot in his face. He later died at the hospital.

WMAR-2 News' unofficial count makes this murder on Baker Street the 300th in 2018.

Earlier in the day, two other people were murdered in West Baltimore. Shortly after 4:30 p.m., A 24-year-old man was shot and killed on the 2800 block of Parkwood Avenue. Around 1 in the afternoon officers found a shooting victim while on a patrol in the 1700 block of Presstman street. The 25-year-old man died at an area hospital.

The man was later identified as Tyrell Davis.
