BALTIMORE, md. — Just after 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, officers were called to the 1600 block of Plum Street for a report of an armed person. A man at the location told police that another man pointed a gun at him after getting into a verbal dispute and then ran into his home.
This became a hostage situation and negotiators were called. Around 4 p.m., SWAT went into the home and found a 30-year-old woman who was suffering from a gunshot wound and a 31 year-old man who was suffering from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. Medics pronounced both victims dead at the location.
Police say 31-year-old man shot the woman then shot himself. A weapon was recovered at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
