EDGEWOOD, Md — Grocery Outlet officially opened Thursday in Harford County.
Dozens of customers formed a line outside waiting for doors to open.

The new store is owned and operated by Gaithersburg native Michael Safo.
It's located off Pulaski Highway behind Walgreens in Edgewood.
This will be the franchise’s fourth store in Maryland, creating over 40 new local jobs.
They're known for their volume and closeout allowing them to offer 40-70 % off name brand grocery items.
