A man is arrested and charged in a deadly shooting at a carryout store in West Baltimore.
It happened at 9:50 p.m. on Saturday, October 28 in the 1800 block of Edmonson Avenue.
Police say Phillip Johnson, 44, was shot and killed white sitting inside a corner store carryout. The suspect ran in shot the victim and ran off.
As the suspect ran from the scene, another man shot at him, hitting him in the arm and the back. He was treated for his injuries at St. Agnes Hospital.
That's where Michael Campbell, 32, was arrested on Sunday, October 29. Police also recovered the gun used in that deadly shooting.
Campbell is charged with 1st degree murder, assault and other handgun violations.
He also has an open arrest warrant for aggravated assault.
