Lottery fever is kicking into high gear. This week there are two massive lottery jackpots worth more than $650 million up for grabs.
There were no big Powerball winners over the weekend, pushing the grand prize to $307 million. It was the same story for Mega Millions - now that jackpot is up to $346 million.
The bad news is that your odds of winning are astronomical. Your chances of winning the Powerball jackpot is one in 290 million. The odds for winning Mega Millions is slightly better, one in 259 million. However that's not stopping people nationwide from buying tickets.
The next drawing for Mega Millions is Tuesday, August 8. Powerball's next drawing is Wednesay, August 9.
