BROOKLYN PARK, Md — A tribute to legendary poet, author and civil rights activist Maya Angelou.

Chesapeake Arts Center unveiled this new mural Tuesday.

It highlights the importance of creativity with these words from Maya Angelou, "You can't use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have."

The masterpiece was designed by local artists and students from Brooklyn Park Middle School.

Angelou, who died in 2014, received dozens of honorary doctorates, and numerous awards, including the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
