Posted

A standoff in Anne Arundel County ends nearly a day after it starts.

Police arrested a man who fired shots at officers during a 22-hour barricade situation in Annapolis.

It started just after 5 p.m. Monday when officers were called to Red Cedar Road.

The man told the 911 operator he'd taken drugs, was hallucinating and had a gun.

He shot at officers multiple times and was taken into custody around 3 p.m. yesterday.

Charges are pending.
