ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY — Maryland State Police are investigating after a man rammed into an officer's car on Saturday afternoon.
A trooper attempted to stop a white Toyota Camry for speeding near Route 50 in Annapolis.
Officers say the vehicle sped away and hid in a nearby neighborhood.
A lookout was created for all police departments specifying the car.
When troopers found the car in a dead end road in a neighborhood, the suspect vehicle accelerated towards the trooper who was inside of his marked patrol SUV.
The man rammed the trooper's vehicle, disabling it, before taking off out of the neighborhood.
The suspect's vehicle was damaged, leaving its bumper behind.
Police later arrested the man at his home.
The officer was taken to Anne Arundel Medical Center by ground.
