Prisoner who escaped from Baltimore County Detention Center taken back into custody

BALTIMORE COUNTY — UPDATE: Police say Kyle Rogowski has been located and taken back into custody.

He was found and taken into custody in Baltimore City by BPD Sunday morning.

He is being treated for minor injuries that happened during his escape and will be facing additional charges associated with the escape.


Baltimore County Police are searching for a prisoner who escaped from the Baltimore County Detention Center in Towson.

Kyle Rogowski, 25, assaulted a BCDC correctional officer and escaped by scaling a barbed wire fence around 6:44 p.m. Saturday.

He was last seen headed southbound on York Road wearing a green jumpsuit with a white head covering. He may be wearing only one shoe and is likely to have suffered a visible injury to his hand from scaling the fence.

He is described as 6'1" tall, 170 pounds, with two teardrop tattoos under his right eye.

Rogowski has been held at BCDC since March on a non-violent charge.
