Students at the University of Maryland are moving in to campus Thursday.

But not all incoming freshmen are getting a dorm room.

The university says there's an extra 350 students this year. To accommodate, some lounge areas in residence halls will be set up similar to dorms and some students may have more roommates than they anticipated.

A university spokesperson says recruitment efforts and the school's popularity led to the higher rate of incoming students.
