Anne Arundel Co. announces series of new restrictions to combat COVID-19

ANNAPOLIS, Md. — On Thursday, Anne Arundel County Executive Steuart Pittman announced a series of actions in response to a recent increase in COVID-19 cases.

Starting Friday the county will impose limits on social gatherings to 10 people indoors and 25 outdoors.

For restaurants, that means going from 50 percent capacity to 25 percent.

As of Monday rec and park youth sports will be suspended in the county.
