ANNAPOLIS, Md. — Anne Arundel County Public Schools say they plan on organizing as many athletic and extracurricular opportunities for students as possible during the 2020-2021 school year.
But no sports will begin on their previously scheduled date of August 12.
Right now the system says its focus is on getting students ready to begin the academic year virtually on September 8.
Then the schools will look at possibilities to engage student-athletes at some point during the first semester.
The system says any changes will bee announced on their website and social media platforms.
