BALTIMORE — The Archdiocese of Baltimore on Thursday said students would attend classes virtually for the first three days, following the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

Officials say the move was made as "a risk mitigation strategy."

The time will be used to monitor potential COVID-19 symptoms and potential test results among their students and staff.

Thus far, the Archdiocese has largely spent the 2020-2021 school year with in-person instruction, while some students have chosen to stay home and learn online.
