TOWSON, Md. — Unlike several other local colleges and universities, who have chosen a hybrid model of some in-person and some distance learning classes, Goucher College is choosing to begin the fall 2020 semester entirely virtually.

"The health and safety of our entire campus community continues to be the college’s highest priority. As we transition the fall semester online, Goucher is taking extensive precautions to keep the community safe while continuing to prepare for our future return to campus. The college’s Reopening Task Force continues its work to create an informed and comprehensive reopening plan using the guidance of local and state public health officials and the American College Health Association," the college said on their website.
An eventual return to campus will be guided by Governor Larry Hogan's four phased Roadmap to Recovery.
When students are allowed back on campus, face coverings and social distancing will be required.
