TOWSON, Md. — Another area chef is about to make his national debut!

Tonight Ed Evans, the executive chef at Live! Casino and Hotel, will be on Food Network's 'Chopped'. He's competing against three other chefs in a Fourth of July themed episode.

The show airs at 10 p.m.

Evan's appearance on the show comes after Jay Rohlfing, from Cunningham's Restaurant in Towson, appeared on the show. He was honored at his restaurant on Tuesday with an executive citation from County Executive Johnny Olszewski.

"The fastest way somewhere is slowly, so a career in the restaurant business is built over time, so working long hours, having great mentors, so to find myself in a position here at Cunningham's, its been a long road, and to have accented it by being able to go on the Food Network and show off what I have learned over my career and then bring it home is just a wonderful experience," Rohlfing said.

Rohlfing won $10,000 on the show.
