Maryland Department of Health reports 20 cases of vaping-related lung illnesses

BALTIMORE — The Maryland Department of Health is investigating cases of people who have developed severe lung illness after using e-cigarettes or vaping.

As of September 17, 2019, there have been 20 reported cases of vaping-associated lung illness.

According to the Department of Health, people who became ill reported using a range of products, including both cannabis-derived products with THC or CBD, and nicotine-containing products.
