First the seafood chain made the news with its no tipping policy. Now they're back in the news.

Diners were shocked to see a photo of a black man who was about to be hanged at a Joe's Crab Shack restaurant in Roseville, Minnesota.

As if that wasn't bad enough, the photograph had a cartoon saying, "All I said was I didn't like the gumbo."

The Minnesota NCAAP demanded that the restaurant remove the photo and release a formal apology Thursday.

The Ignite Restaurant Group, Joe's Crab Shack parent company has since apologized for the photo. Ignite's chief operations officer David Catalano gave a statement to ABC affiliate KSTP, which said in part:

"We understand one of the photos used in out table decor at our Joe's Crab Shack location in Roseville, MN, was offsensive...We take this matter very seriously, and the photo in question was immediately removed. We sincerely apologize to our guests who were disturbed by the image and we look forward to continuing to serve the Roseville community."
