St. Elizabeth School is a special education school that serves students aged 6-21 with special needs from all over the state of Maryland. Recently, St. Elizabeth School was the recipient of a physical makeover valued at over $500,000.00 thanks to the WMAR Built Upon A Dream program and volunteers from the Maryland community.
The school received an entirely new classroom space and life-skills development building complete with a mock-apartment through the efforts of Built Upon A Dream. The renovation included improvements throughout the building. Workers improved everything from roofing, flooring, painting, electrical, appliances, windows, HVAC, decking, bathrooms, kitchen and landscaping in the building.
