62% of Maryland children lack critical reading skills, and the statistics are similar throughout the country. The OgStar Reading app uses the Orton-Gillingham method to make reading accessible for children in grades pre-k through 8.
The app guides children though exercises with fun, motivated games and allows them to work at their own pace either in a school setting or at home.
OgStar is offering free app downloads to the first ten viewers who email info@ogstarreading.com with the subject line - Free OgStar WMAR. Viewers should have iPads of generation 4 or newer and note the age of their child in the email for the correct download.
