Natural Light is giving away $10 million to pay off student loans

Beer company says college debt ruins the party
Posted

Natural Light, also known as "Natty Light," is one of the many beers of choice at college parties, and now Anheuser-Busch is giving back and wants to help college graduates across the country with their student loans.

Student loan debt can totally ruin the party after the college party, so Natty Light is pledging to give away $10,000,000 over the next decade to help pay down college debt.

"Last year, the College Debt Relief Program had a major impact on the Natty community, both financially and emotionally. But, student debt in America continues to rise, so we're coming back with an even stronger commitment that will make an impact well beyond 2019," said Daniel Blake, Senior Director of Value Brands, Anheuser-Busch. "We're making a pledge to give back $10,000,000 over the next decade to help out even more deserving individuals and shine a brighter light on the issue of college debt."

In 2019, Natty Light is putting $1,000,000 on the table and they want to help 70 people pay down their student loans with that million dollars. All you have to do is post a video to social media between now and May 18 with your inspiration for going to college. You have to include the green dollar-sign tab that's found on limited edition Natural Light cans in the video. This can be on a real can or you can print out the label from their website here .

Then publish the video with the hashtags #NattyStories and #Contest.

According to the press release, there are more than 44 million Americans who have nearly $1.5 trillion in student loan debt. So Natty Light wants to help graduates remember college for the good times and not for the stress of debt that follows college.
