The Maryland SPCA's biggest fundraiser of the year fell short of its goal but there is still time to help.

Saturday, April 15 thousands of people and their pets took over Camden Yards Sports Complex for the 22nd annual March for the Animals. Money from the march provides care and services to almost 15,000 pets that need help throughout the year.

The goal this year was to raise $450,000 but despite lots of hard work the MD SPCA didn't reach its goal. Now several anonymous donors stepped in to help out. They teamed up to create a matching donation up to $25,000 for any additional donations made before Friday, April 22 at midnight. Basically, any money you donate will be doubled.

With this new donation, it's closer to the goal but still needs your help. Click here for more information on how to donate and how the money you donate will be used to help homeless animals.
