BALTIMORE — One person is dead and four people are injured following a February 19 fire in Baltimore.

It happened at a three story apartment building in the 2300 block of Terra Firma Road.

Arriving firefighters were met by two injured people already outside the building.

Two more had to be rescued from a third-floor window.

Meanwhile, another man escaped by jumping from the burning building.

He died nearly nearly a month later from injuries suffered that day, according to Baltimore City Fire Spokesman Roman Clark.

The man's name was not released.

Investigators are still working to determine the cause of the fire.
